A skyrocketing suicide crisis! ISP is the only national organization that assists suicide survivors that do not have insurance, or the money to pay for suicide scene cleaning. There are 90 to 100 suicides a day nationally, increasing daily as the recession deepens, and 80% of these suicides are currently being cleaned up by a family member. If a person experiences the cleaning up of a family member’s suicide, they are 75% more likely to commit suicide than the general population. With these incredibly disturbing statistics, and isn’t it good to know that ISP is there to help. ISP is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity. Surviving a family suicide is hard, especially if you are faced with cleaning up the remains. ISP is easing the pain for those in the greatest of need with your help. ISP is providing a real solution by having our national database of volunteers ready to assist by cleaning suicide scenes. Our volunteers need the materials necessary to clean these scenes, and this is where you come in. Our suicide cleaning kits cost $25.00 each to create, and they contain the following goods; Rubber gloves, shoe booties, large trash bags, bleach, paper towels, peroxide, coveralls, eye protection, air filtering masks, and two spray bottles.
